So, this summer I discovered a new found love for fresh Bing Cherries. I always thought I would be repulsed by the pit, on the contrary…I felt it added a nice element to the process of eating the cherry.
For these cherries, I mixed a couple tablespoons of milk with a bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips. I microwaved that in increments of 30 seconds and stirred in between times. After my cherries were washed and dry, I dipped each one up to the stem. I let them dry on parchment paper for most of the day. They were so wonderful! I even converted a few fans when I took these to work.
