Care for some juice?

No, this isn’t about juices.  Although, I adore a fresh apple juice.  Ok, wait, maybe it is slightly.  The recipe does contain orange juice.  I carried these delectable treats to work, and they absolutely loved them.  Just like those darn Oreo Truffles previously mentioned, they have a minimal ingredient list, but so much easier to make!  Not much to say about this recipe.  The only thing I can tell you is that this is another wonderful recipe courtesy of Maw-Maw, and a great use of fresh pecans.  Do try this…another simple treat…

Wait for it…wait for it…look how easy!!!

Orange Balls

·         1 box vanilla wafers (16 ounce)
·         1 box confectioners sugar
·         1 cup pecans
·         1 stick melted margarine
·         1 six-ounce can of frozen orange juice (thawed)

Crush/chop the Nilla Wafers and nuts up together.  Combine all together.  Roll into balls and then in coconut or toasted pecans.  These can be refrigerated for up to 2 weeks for tastiest results.

Let’s make this a doubly whammy kind of post.  Since I don’t have any pictures of the Orange Balls, here are some pictures of the hosting part of Christmas Eve.  My best piece of advice???  Labels on your platters!  You can see my use of them below.  Hey, looks like you can even see one labeled for the Orange Balls…ha!  Happy hosting!!!
