You must stir, stir, stir. There are things that you know you shouldn’t have in the mix. Air bubbles in your batter are like the bad kid in the group. The one that encourages everyone else to misbehave…..Air bubbles in cake batter are not your best friends. Just like in life, you must continue to stir things up a bit. You must keep things fresh, new, and vibrant. You don’t want air bubbles in your mix, because they are only bound to pop or leave you with empty space in your cake batter of life.
After pouring into the pans, you bounce the pans off of the counter as best you can without spilling the batter out. You will see lots of bubbles come to the top and pop. Yay…..no more air bubbles!
These are some pictures of the batter coming together. Then stir baby, stir!
A toothpick run through the batter after you bounce the heck out of them will also help you get the bubbles out. Love to keep things fresh by stirring them up a bit! Love ya!
